A note from our school captains
Our 2025 leaders from left to right: Emily M, Josh G, Tina H, Oscar H, Audrey L, Hunter H, Levi P, absent Theo D
There is so much to love about Northbridge Public School. There's always something to look forward to every day, whether it's learning exciting new things in class or having fun with friends. I love how everyone at this school is valued and seen and that every student is encouraged in their strengths. Whether you are good at public speaking, maths, sport, art, chess or more, there are so many opportunities to shine. Some of my best memories have been participating in our art competitions, spelling bee, and Maths Olympiad. I love how our teachers are caring and supportive and how they work so hard to bring out the best in all of us. It has been an honour to represent Northbridge Public School as a school captain this year and I have enjoyed every moment. Taking on this leadership role has been an amazing experience and I am so thankful for all of the encouragement and support I have received from my teachers and peers. The memories I have made here are so special to me and I will treasure them forever.
Tina H, 2025
Over my years at Nortbridge some of the things that I have really enjoyed include co-curricular activities as well as the vast areas to play on. For stage 3 (years 5-6) I was lucky enough to be involved in the musical and Tournament of Minds, as well as being able to extend my brain in Maths Olympiad, an international competition involving multiple tests. Another thing that I've reallly enjoyed is the different play areas for lunch and recess including Northbridge Oval. These are just a small number of the many reasons why NPS is such a great school.

Centenary
In 2023 we celebrated our Centenary. We had a year of celebrations including a Foundation Day assembly and picnic with old-fashioned games. Later in the year we held an open day so all our alumni could come to see the school and our centenary museum, and reconnect with their old school friends.
School Musical
Every year stage 3 students perform in our school musical. This year we're doing Shrek Jr. Our stage 3 students can also submit entries in our poster competition. Congratulations Tina H!
Grandfriends' Day
We all agree, Grandfriends' Day is one of the best days of the year at NPS. K-2 students invite their favourite older person to watch them sing and dance, and enjoy morning tea.
Japanese
Students love learning Japanese and enjoying activities such as sushi making, origami, furoshiki fabric folding and making Tanzaku wishes.
"Being part of Northbridge Public School feels like belonging to something bigger. Our children are supported by dedicated teachers and given so many opportunities — from weekly music classes, band in Years 3 to 6, to sport, Japanese, the use of Northbridge Oval, and the yearly musical. What really sets NPS apart, though, is its size and the warmth of the community. We feel very lucky to have such a special public school in Northbridge.”
Lisa Eggar, Parent and K-6 Co-ordinator 2025
"Northbridge Public School provides the best of a structured education that includes exceptional extra curricular programs. It's community represents the warmth of a small village while managing a global representation and expansive thinking. Ultimately an education and community that will ignite your child's potential.”
Gordon Gilkes, Parent and P&C President 2025
