Positive Behaviour for Learning
Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is a system approach for establishing the social culture, individualised behaviour and academic supports needed for schools to be effective learning environments for all students.
At Northbridge Public School we have three expectations for our PBL program. They are:
- Responsible
- Respectful
- Successful
These expectations flow over into all areas of school and home life. Posters reminding the students of their expected behaviour are placed around the classrooms and school. Areas that need improving are specifically targeted and lessons are taught to students to help improve the problem.
